Delilah's TriumphGiving up at last, Brother Thomas pushed the leather bound books back into their shelves. He had been peering into them from sunrise to sunset but the words had merely passed over his mind, the lamb’s blood of trepidation was painted across his forehead. The last book he held a while, stroking the gold leaf edge, it was only fitting the book he treasured most should be so beautiful. It was unavoidable; he should not have come and he could still leave now, yet fearful anticipation kept him rooted to the library chair. Opening the book he turned to Joshua 1:9 and read aloud:

Mood: Yearning

Life has moved on, art is still a little part of it, DeviantArt is fast becoming ancient history however. I thought I'd trim the verge before I leave the house to rot.

If you're wondering what's happened to me, I'm an English Literature Student in QMUL, East London. I've gotten a good deal fitter, shaved my beard and broadened my horizons well beyond my old metal stereotypes. I'm still listening to the music, but among many other things. Not just music, my attitude to everything has gone beyond the old teenage geek to something that I hope is broader, stronger and more arrogant than before.
